From November 28th to December 12th, during the “COP21”, Paris and its northern and eastern suburbs will be occupied by big polluters and their henchmen. A mob is assembling, united by the pretense that they can manage the climate catastrophe they’ve produced. Even as they rake in ever growing profits, they continue to pollute the planet and squander our resources. We refuse to be fooled by the masquerade of “COP21” ! We denounce this gathering as a flimsy charade in lieu of real change.
As usual, mainstream media will copy-paste the press kits prepared by big industry and government spokesmen. The only way to spread the truth is by raising our voices above the babble. This is the purpose of the Automedia Team—to pull back the curtain on misinformation. Like clean energy, independent information must be decentralized, scrutinized, and redistributed for free. Our information must be fed with unencumbered facts, testimonies, research and analysis. We will spread the truth through photography, videos, radio, text, pamphlets, posters, stickers, songs, art, graffiti, etc.
Anyone with a camera, a video camera or an audio recorder, a mobile phone, an Internet connection, spray paint or even a single marker can contribute.
